Diabetic shoes help keep the feet of diabetics healthy by being made in such a way that lowers the wearer's risk of diabetic foot ulcers, and amputations. Diabetic shoes have a reputation unfortunately for not being the cutest shoes in the world, or being downright ugly. In 2023, there are now several brands that are devoted to making diabetic shoes that people will be proud to wear. One brand I want to feature today is Anodyne.

Anodyne makes diabetic shoes for men and women, as well as diabetic inserts, and socks. I first learned about Anodyne during my 3-year foot surgery residency. These are beautiful shoes, with a modern design, and don't that that stereotypical look or feel of diabetic shoes.
